A story about people with a commitment to excellence.

CEO and founder of
PACK & SEND, Michael Paul, opened the first
PACK & SEND store in Parramatta, NSW, Australia, on the 17th August 1993.
Created in response to a gap in the marketplace when Michael was unable to find a company to pack and send a computer from Sydney to Melbourne, a promising idea grew into a business that developed into a highly respected international award-winning business.
The initial vision in 1993 was to establish a unique retail model – a ‘one-stop-shop’ for logistics services with a commitment to providing customers with convenient and personalised packing and freight solutions.
Customers from a wide range of markets found value in the convenience of the
PACK & SEND service, including businesses, tourists, householders, university students and freight companies.
Encouraging the brand’s burgeoning growth was the amplified use of the internet from the year 2000, sparking off a definite change in consumer buying behaviour.

As millions of goods began to be bought and sold online as a consequence of websites such as eBay,
PACK & SEND found itself perfectly poised to take advantage of this new demand, bridging the huge gap that existed between online buyers and sellers of unpacked second-hand goods.
The development of the national retail network, increasingly made
PACK & SEND the most accessible company in Australia for packaging and freight services and enabled multiple
PACK & SEND stores to work together to provide unique solutions for clients. Consequently, major Blue-chip corporations became customers, such as Qantas, Telstra, BHP Billiton, Bunnings Warehouse, Kodak, Optus, Virgin Airlines, National Australia Bank, to name a few.
Today,
PACK & SEND is a highly respected brand, with over 130 stores throughout Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand with new stores opening every month.
Directed from a vision of excellence,
PACK & SEND's plans for the future are to extend its personalised ‘no limits’ service to communities throughout the world.
